Rapper Peabod Joined Scotty on Hip Hope to Chat Happy Hip Hop

Seattle rapper Peabod joined Scotty on Hip Hope to discuss Seattle, Portuguese water dogs, and his genre of rap, Happy Hip Hop.

Peadbod initially started out writing songs that fit into the blues and folk genre. He had a real love for the hip hop genre and he wrote some songs and those songs were what captured the attention of his record label.

Peabod discussed the “Happy Hip Hop” music genre and his fascination with the idea of joy in hip hop music. His belief is that our joy as individuals is important to God. Delighting in things is a form of worship.

You can listen to the full interview below and find out more about Peabod, his music, faith, and what exactly a Portuguese water dog is.
