Meet Maz

Maz never really thought about working in radio, but in 2016 knew she wanted to use her Communications Degree for good, and started volunteering on the Arch D Radio program with James Meston. Soon after, she joined The Takeover as a weekly cohost and was soon after asked to stand in as Acting Host and Producer of the Show. Maz’s role on The Takeover became permanent, and for the next five and a half years, she fell more and more in love with radio, especially storytelling and engaging with the community.

When Maz isn’t on-air, she’s probably making, drinking or buying coffee, brunching or bargain-hunting. Maz’s favourite fillm is The Princess Diaries because she and her Mum used to watch it allll the time, and she’s an avid fan of the Port Adelaide Football Club, Italian food, EDM and spreading kindness and joy.
