David is a musician, feature film and TV producer, and has been married for 42 years to the very patient Sue. David has 3 children and 3 grandchildren.

David is an enduring member of community media in Australia and was presented with the prestigious Michael Law Award in 2019 by the Community Broadcasting Association of Australia for his sustained and outstanding contribution to community broadcasting for over 40 years.
