Mum Takes Over in The Brand new Segment on The Takeover

Not everyone is blessed enough to still have their Mum with them – or to have an easy relationship with their Mum. Life FM has recently launched a new segment on the Takeover that gives people space and opportunity to ask questions they would typically ask a Mum.

Maz lost her Mum nearly three years ago after a long illness. The idea for the segment was born during that time. Maz and Lilli’s hope for the segment is that it will encourage people to know they are not alone.

Mary-Anne Maio, host and producer of The Takeover recently joined with co-host Lilli Fulkwood to launch a new segment called ‘Hey Mum’ Aimed at the show’s core demographic of 12 -25 years old, the segment gives listeners the opportunity to ask Lilli’s Mum Fiona two questions. One is a practical Life advice question and the other centers around deeper issues.

Recently Radio Today featured an article about the segment, you can read the story here. Listen to Hey Mum where Fiona answers questions about the Fuel light in your car and submission below. The Takeover airs 7-9pm nightly on 107.9 Life FM.
