Daz’s Top 3 Yellow Brick Road Items at the Royal Adelaide Show 2026
The Royal Adelaide Show is back on again for 2026 and one of my favourite traditions to do at the show is to purchase a Yellow Brick Road showbag.
To those who are unfamiliar, the Yellow Brick Road showbag is a special kind of showbag that starts empty, but slowly fills up as you explore the showgrounds and collect certain items from specific show stalls.
When you purchase the showbag, you receive a map showing you where to collect each item. As you visit each stall, the staff stamp your map to mark off each item you’ve collected.
As someone who has bought this showbag every year ever since I can remember, I consider myself to be a bit of a Yellow Brick Road veteran, and so to help you consider if this year’s showbag is worth it, I’ve decided to take it upon myself to rank the top 3 items you can get from the Yellow Brick Road at the Royal Adelaide Show.
While this year’s showbag is slightly smaller in size with 11 items to collect (compared to 13 from last year), it remains at its purchase price of $14 or $24 for two. And just like every YBR showbag, there are some items that you get every year, and some that are exclusive to 2026!
#3 – Gelista – Pot of Gelati

Who doesn’t love free icecream? While this item is a common Yellow Brick Road staple (existing since 2024), it continues to be a personal favourite of mine. This delicious pot of Vanilla Bean gelati can be found inside of the Dairy Food Hall at the Showground, but be quick to eat it soon after because icecream melts fast!
#2 – The Hygiene Co. – Handwipes

I know what you’re thinking… Handwipes? Really? But trust me, because one of the biggest inconveniences that I’ve experienced at the Show is right after I’ve had a messy dagwood dog, and my hands are all sticky, saucy and dirty! In moments like these, these handwipes are a game changer! No more having to run around the Showground looking for a napkin, because you have sauce dripping from your hands! Being able to pull these wipes out from the showbag after having food is so convenient! Your hands will thank you!
These can be collected from The Hygiene Co stall at the Golden Grains area.
#1 – Foodbank Kelloggs Nutrigrain 450gm

I have always found that the most impressive stuff I get from the Yellow Brick Road are the ones provided by the Foodbank SA stall, and this year was no exception! This year at the Foodbank stall inside of the Jubilee Pavilion, you get an entire cereal box of Kellogg’s NutriGrain, valued at $11! The cereal was so big that it doesn’t even entirely fit inside of the showbag! You have breakfast sorted for the rest of the month with this!
So if you are still looking to make it to the Royal Adelaide Show this year before it wraps up on September 13th, make sure you get yourself a Yellow Brick Road showbag, and let me know if you agree with my rankings!
